This paper presents the thermal and chemical analysis of a gas turbine combustion chamber, considering the methodology of modeling by two well-stirred reactors of perfect mixture in series. For this, it is considered a two-step mechanism for the combustion reaction and it is verified the effects of variations in fuel and air discharges in the results (inside and outside the reactors). The air supplied to the camera is from a compressor. The obtained results agree physically with the expected ones, since the temperature in the outer part of the first reactor is above the adiabatic flame temperature and there is a small amount of fuel and pollutants at its output, which are eliminated/reduced during the passage through the second reactor, which displays lower than the first temperature on its output. These results show the importance of idealized models for the simulation of combustion complex systems, and it is possible to analyze several parameters that take part in thermal and chemical reactions.
