Qi Gong, like an ancient form of health maintenance of TraditionalChina Medicine, is applied to effectively give an integrative support onpatients with cancer. The diagnosis and treatment of cancer areassociated with significant changes in quality of life (QOL) and sideeffects. The effects of Qi Gong in treating common cancer-related sideeffects, including nausea, pain, fatigue, anxiety, inflammation,depressive symptoms and improving overall QOL are confirmed inliterature [1-5]. Qi Gong includes many techniques (e.g. self-massages,movements, meditations, breath controlling and mindfulness) andmanaging physical body, breath and mind (consciousness). Most includemore forms, “Family-styles” and only very few are able to combinesignificantly “body-breath-mind”. Furthermore, only for 2 or 3 areavailable an Evidence Base Medicine-track records. Actually, theefficacy of Qi Gong is currently achievable in long/med time anddepends on: i) time-training, especially homely, ii) correct sequence andiii) steadiness.
