Los dias 5 y 6 de febrero de 2009 se ha celebrado en Roma un Workshop sobre Premis (PREservation Metadata: Implementation Strategies). El acto, organizado por la Fondazione Rinascimento Digitale, ha contado con la participacion de dos miembros del comite editorial de Premis: Rebecca Guenther (Library of Congress) y Angela Dappert (British Library). Se presentaron algunos proyectos de implementacion de metadatos de preservacion de documentacion digital que se estan llevando a cabo.
