International audienceThe ‘action-based perspective’ suggests a connection with activity theory, in other words, a sociocultural and a social intention. The CEFR deals with this social aspect up front by considering the speaker/learner as a social actor. Can ‘task’ therefore be considered to be individualized as the communicative approach leads us to believe? How can this social and action-based perspective be applied in language classes without returning to the tradition of learners developing on their own? Along with communicative competence, how do we take into account the so-called generic and transversal competences that are necessary for social interaction? How can this shared action-based intelli gence be assessed and valued?La « perspective actionnelle » suggère une filiation avec les théories de l’activité, c’est-à-dire une visée socioculturelle et une visée sociale. Le CECR aborde sans s’attarder cet aspect social en considérant tout locuteur / apprenant dans sa dimension d’acteur social. Dès lors, la « tâche » peut-elle être considérée comme individuelle comme l’approche communicative le laisse entendre ? Comment tenir compte en classe de langues de cette perspective sociale et actionnelle sans retomber dans la tradition de l’apprenant se développant en toute autonomie ? Quelle place accorder, en plus de la compétence de communication, aux compétences dites génériques et transversales qui sont mobilisées nécessairement dans l’action sociale ? Comment évaluer et valoriser cette intelligence actionnelle partagée
