本研 究で使用 した3種 類の高分子材料 の構造をFig.1 に示す.耐 熱性高分子 フ ィル ムとして現在用 いられてい るDu Pont社 製 ポ リイ ミ ド ・カプ トンの耐熱 温度 は約 400°C であ り,構 造 中の環 状 ピロメ リッ トイ ミ ド基 が こ の耐熱 性を与 えている.ま た,同 じ芳香族系 で環状構造 を持た ない耐熱 性高分子Polyetheretherketone(PEEK) として住友ベー クライ ト社製 のス ミライ トを使用 した. ス ミライ トの耐 熱温度 は200°C であるが,カ プ トンに比 べて成形 しやすい とい う利 点がある.こ れ らの高分子 と は異 なる直鎖構造を もつ絶縁性高分子 にPerfluoroalkoxy (PFA)が あ る.フ ッ素樹脂の一種 であるPFAは,実 際 に熱制御材料 として実用化 されているフ ッ素樹脂のテフ ロンと同様 に耐熱性,絶 縁性に優れている.本 研究では ダイキ ン工業社製 のネオフ ロンを使用 した.ネ オフ ロン の耐熱温度 は240°C であ り,他 のフ ッ素樹 脂 フィル ムに 比べて透明性,加 工性 に優れ てお り,熱 制御材料へ の応 用 が期待 され る.
