衝撃波 は通常の非粘性気体力学では,そ れを横切 って 物理量が不連続的に変化す る不連続面 として取 り扱われ る.し か し実際には衝撃波は厚みを持 ってお り,そ の内 部 で物理1は 急激ではあ るが連続的に変化する.こ の変 化 は気体分子 の平均 自由行程程度の範囲で起 こっている ため,衝 撃波 の内部構造が問題 とな る場合には気 体論 に よる取 り扱 いが必要 となる1,2).最近,差 分法 に よる気 体論方程式 の精密 な数値解析に よって,平 面凝縮 相にお ける強い蒸発 ・凝縮 の問題が解析 され,そ れに付 随す る 衝撃波や膨張波 の生成,伝 播が正確 に求められた3~5). 本研 究では,同 様 の数値解析に よって任意の強 さの垂 直 衝撃波(波 面 が流れ に垂直 な平面衝撃波)の 構造 を解析 し,標 準 となる正確 な結果を与 える.さ らに2つ の垂 直 衝撃波が相互作用す る場合 の気体の振舞を調べ る.
