The purpose of this research is to examine the current situations of indoor environment of children’s daycare centres and to propose effective methods to create better environment. Measurement observation in two daycare centres and questionnaire in about 370 centres are conducted. Then, based on the discovered primary factors of indoor environment change, three methods to improve environment are proposed: 1) to accordingly adjust the indoor environment; 2) to arrange space composition by using furniture’s height; 3) to devise scheduling of nursing. Furthermore, it is necessary to know the warning point and deal with it accordingly by each facility.
