This study aims to determine the teacher's interpersonal communication techniques in dealing with problem students, knowing the role of the teacher in dealing with problem students, knowing how the steps of the BP teacher in dealing with problematic students. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative research method. Research using descriptive methods, namely research that does not seek or explain relationships, does not test hypotheses or make predictions. The results of the study show that if the emotional relationship between teachers and students is well established, there will be space for BP teachers to intervene or special guidance on students with problems, the need for stages and processes of effective interpersonal communication carried out by BP Teachers to problematic students, in carry out discipline for students with problems BP teachers and the school should make stricter rules. The conclusion obtained through this research is that through a well-established emotional relationship between teachers and students, it will open up space for BP teachers to carry out the stages and process of effective interpersonal communication by BP teachers.
