Introduccion: Las agresiones al personal de salud constituyen un problema frecuente que genera secuelas emocionales y laborales, causan una percepcion de inseguridad en el lugar de trabajo. El problema adquiere dimensiones de gravedad porque exponen a miles de personas a ser victimas de agresiones, violando los derechos fundamentales del trabajador. Objetivo: Establecer las caracteristicas de las agresiones laborales del personal de salud. Metodos: Este es un estudio no experimental, cuantitativo, descriptivo, transversal, llevado a cabo en 311 personas que incluye el personal de salud de 7 unidades del Distrito 17D06 usando una tecnica de muestreo probabilistico de tipo aleatorio simple. Las variables del estudio incluyeron caracteristicas sociodemograficas del personal agredido, el tipo y particularidades de la agresion que se describieron mediante frecuencias y porcentajes.  Resultados: El 72,7% de los participantes fueron victimas de agresiones; el 92,1% ha recibido agresion verbal y el 7,9% agresion fisica, ademas la agresion en un 73,9% proviene de pacientes, 17,3 % de un trabajador de nivel superior, en las consecuencias el 54,9% del personal agredido se ve afectado en las labores en el trabajo; el 33,2 % en las labores del hogar y el 11,9% recibio amenazas que atentan contra la vida o hacia algun familiar. Conclusiones: El personal de salud recibe un alto indice de agresiones laborales de tipo verbal, procedente en su mayoria de los pacientes y trabajadores de nivel superior, tambien resalta el porcentaje de personal de salud que recibio amenazas que atentan contra la vida o hacia algun familiar. Abstract Introduction: Attacks on health personnel are a frequent problem that generates emotional and occupational consequences, causing a perception of insecurity in the workplace. The problem acquires serious dimensions because they expose thousands of people to be victims of aggression, violating the fundamental rights of the worker. Objective: To establish the characteristics of occupational assaults of health personnel. Methods: This is a non-experimental, quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional study, carried out on 311 people that includes health personnel from 7 units of District 17D06 using a simple randomized probabilistic sampling technique. The variables of the study included sociodemographic characteristics of the attacked personnel, the type and particularities of the aggression that were described by means of frequencies and percentages. Results: 72.7% of the participants were victims of assaults; 92.1% have received verbal aggression and 7.9% physical aggression, in addition the aggression in 73.9% comes from patients, 17.3% from a higher level worker, in the consequences 54.9% of the attacked personnel is affected in the work at work; 33.2% in housework and 11.9% received threats that threaten life or a family member. Conclusions: Health personnel receive a high rate of verbal workplace assaults, mostly from patients and higher-level workers, also highlighting the percentage of health personnel who received threats that attempt against life or a family member.
