ÖZ Amaç: Araştırma, Mastektomi Sonrası Memenin Yeniden Şekillendirilmesine Eğilim Ölçeği’nin Türkçe’ye uyarlanması, kültürel uyumu ve geçerlilik ve güvenilirliğini değerlendirmek amacıyla yapıldı. Gereç ve Yöntem: Metodolojik olarak yapılan araştırma, Erzurum ilinde bulunan iki hastanede mastektomi ameliyatı olan hastalar ile yüz yüze görüşülerek yapıldı. Araştırmanın evrenini Nisan 2016Eylül 2018 tarihleri arasında ilgili hastanelerde mastektomi olmuş ve ameliyatının üzerinden en az 6 ay geçmiş olan hastalar, örneklemini ise bu tarihler arasında belirtilen evrende araştırmaya katılma ölçütlerini taşıyan ve araştırmaya katılmayı kabul eden 118 hasta oluşturdu. Verilerin toplanmasında “Kişisel Bilgi Formu” ve “Mastektomi Sonrası Memenin Yeniden Şekillendirilmesine Eğilim Ölçeği” kullanıldı. Ölçeğin, geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçüm aracı olup olmadığı dil, kapsam, yapı geçerliliği, iç tutarlılık güvenilirliği ve testtekrar test güvenilirlik analizleri ile değerlendirildi. Bulgular: Ölçeğin önce çeviri-geri çevirisi yapılarak dil geçerliliği, daha sonra ise uzman önerileri doğrultusunda gerekli düzeltmeler yapılarak kapsam geçerliliği sağlandı. Ölçeğin açımlayıcı faktör analizi sonucunda 4 faktörlü bir yapı gösterdiği, ölçeğe ait bütün maddelerin faktör yüklerinin 0.40’ın üzerinde ve uygun aralıkta olduğu saptandı. Ölçeğin Cronbach alfa katsayısı; Mastektomi Sonrası Memenin Yeniden Şekillendirilmesine Eğilim Ölçeği toplam puanı için 0.84, Ana Faktörler alt boyutu için 0.83, İkinci Faktörler alt boyutu için 0.82, Minör Bariyerler alt boyutu için 0.63 ve Korkuya Neden Olan Faktörler alt boyutu için 0.82 olarak bulundu. Sonuç: Araştırma sonucu, ölçeğin orijinal ölçekle benzer yapıda ve Türkiye’de kullanılabilir olduğunu göstermiştir. Ölçek geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçüm aracı olarak kabul edilmiştir. ABSTRACT The Turkish Validity and Reliability Study of the Questionnaire of Tendency to Breast Reconstruction after Mastectomy Aim: The study was conducted to adapt the Questionnaire of Tendency to Breast Reconstruction after Mastectomy to Turkish and evaluate its cultural adaptation, validity, and reliability. Material and Method: This methodological study was conducted through face-to-face interviews with patients who underwent mastectomy surgery in two hospitals in Erzurum Province. The study population consisted of the patients who underwent a mastectomy in the relevant hospitals between April 2016 and September 2018 and had at least six months after surgery. The study sample consisted of 118 patients who met the inclusion criteria in the specified population and agreed to participate in the study between these dates. “Personal Information Form” and “Questionnaire of Tendency to Breast Reconstruction after Mastectomy” were used to collect data. Language, content and construct validity and internal consistency reliability, and testretest reliability were evaluated to determine whether the questionnaire is a valid and reliable measurement tool. Results: Firstly, the language validity of the questionnaire was provided through translationback translation, and then its content validity was provided by making the necessary corrections in accordance with expert opinions. As a result of the exploratory factor analysis, it was determined that the questionnaire showed a four-factor structure, and the factor loadings of all items were over 0.40 and within the appropriate range. The Cronbach’s alpha coefficient of the questionnaire was found to be 0.84 for the overall questionnaire, 0.83 for the main factors subscale, 0.82 for the second factors subscale, 0.63 for minor barriers subscale, and 0.82 for factors causing fear subscale. Conclusion: The study results indicated that the questionnaire has a similar structure to the original version and can be used in Turkey. The questionnaire was considered a valid and reliable tool.
