Quality of diabetes care in India is a challenge. Diabetes management is depending upon the expertise, awareness, attitude, and perceptions among health care professionals in diabetes (Joshi, 2015). Currently, India is a diabetic home of more than 69 million individuals and it is expected to be 123 million by the year 2040.
