This study was conducted to determine the biology of the egg parasitoids, Trissolcus semistriatus Nees and T. grandis Thomson (Hymenoptera: Scelionidae), with Eurygaster maura (Hemiptera: Scutelleridae) as the host, under natural conditions. Fourty-two host eggs were provieded to adult female parasitoids every day until they death. Trissolcus semistriatus and T. grandis parasitized an average of 79.70 and 75.50 eggs, respectively. The emergence percentage of the parasitoids from different batches of eggs ranged from 11.42% to 62.85% in T. semistriatus, and from 10.28% to 67.50% in T. grandis . The proportion of females was 0.81 in T. semistriatus and 0.82 in T. grandis . The average development times of T. semistriatus and T. grandis females were 27.05 and 26.69 days, respectively, and for T. semistriatus and T. grandis males, the average development times were 25.07 and 22.56 days, respectively. Statistical analysis demonstrated a significant difference between the two parasitoids for oviposition period but the difference in postoviposition period and longevity were not significant.
