Accidents constitute one of the most important problems of public health around the world, because they cause a high mortality and permanent incapacity rate. Accidents happen generally because of environmental facts, circumstances and conditions that facilitates them and that, without exception, are preventable. Objective: Determine the most frequent trauma cause in kids extremities. Materials an methods: six hundred and fifty eight medical records were revised in rellation to the following variables: sex, age, district, place, company and activity realize in te accident moment, mechanism and type of the injurie, anatomic place affected and associated patologies. Results: The promediate age of patient was 8.7 years with much more frecuency at the age of 12. the most significant number of consultations was in male sex (66.9%), when they were in company of friends (42.5%). The place of the most occurrence was in the street (54.3%) in the main accident mechanism was the falldrop (64.3%), the fracture was the type of the main injurie with a 55.4% and the anatomic place more afected was superior member (70.5%) Conclusion: The main trauma causes in the extremities are variable, avoiding motrix sequels in kids , in addition decreas the psicologic trauma in parents an kinds and the hospital expenses.
