Financial crisis is profoundly impacting the development of China's textile and garment industry. This article analyzes the growth characteristics of China's listed companies in textile and garment industry in 2008-2011 using Wilcoxon signed-rank test. The results show that in the post-crisis era, the huge monetary input, high debt ratio and the dominance of low value added textiles in income structures are the main reasons for listed companies' failures in achieving sustainable growth of sales revenue.
