According to the comprehensive reform thoughts of higher education in China, the resident undergraduate colleges need to transform to the applied technology education. This paper first analyzes the opportunities and difficulties faced by the automation specialty. Then the paper clarifies the relationship between the theoretical courses, the technical courses and the technical practice courses.
