The purpose of this paper is to systematically discuss several important issues of international NGO's participation in the education of ethnic minority areas in Yunnan, so that all colleagues and experts can benefit from it. Through a variety of research methods, such as literature research, field investigation, case analysis and so on. This paper mainly introduces four aspects: the development situation, main fields, historical evolution and form of activities of international NGOs participating in social affairs in Yunnan minority areas. Through investigation, the paper finds that the international NGO has promoted the development of education in Yunnan minority areas in recent 30 years, which is of great theoretical significance and practical value.
