The article is devoted to the constantly increasing role of the system for assessing the results of teaching work and its influence on teachers’ motivation, the possibility to draw teachers’ attention to certain strategic tasks of the university, the possibility of taking into account different aspects of teachers' activity, with human resource and financial planning, as well as the creating conditions in order to ensure the competitiveness of a higher educational institution.
