"post-truth" is a public opinion ecology that emphasizes emotions and opinions. This media environment provides a space for the barbaric growth of "stereotyped impression" that conforms to the audience's inherent thinking and easily intensifies their emotions. Stereotypes in news reports can bring about negative effects such as inaccurate reports and intensified emotions of audiences. In the context of the post-truth era, this paper selects stereotypes in news reports as research objects to discuss the impact of stereotypes on news transmission. Therefore, on the basis of defining relevant concepts, through typical news case analysis and taking the "female driver" in the incident of chongqing bus falling into the river as an example, this paper explores the reasons for the generation of stereotypes in news reports, and summarizes and reflects on the Suggestions to prevent the interference of stereotypes in news dissemination.
