This paper aims at discussing a possible articulation between three theoretical notions, such as the research entitled "Praxeological analysis of geometric contents in textbooks of mathematics of the 6th year of elementary school in the light of eschammal diagrams". The research is linked to the Scientific Initiation Program (PI-BIC / COPES / UFS) (2017-2018), based on the following topics: geometic education (LORENZATO, 1995), van Hiele levels (VILLIERS, 2010), instrumental and relational understanding (FOSSA, 2011) and the Anthropological Theory of Teaching (SANTOS and MENEZES, 2015), among others. As a result of the readings and discussions, it was possible to understand the articulation between the three theoretical notions and, consequently, to analyze didactic textbooks of mathematics in the 6th year of elementary school.
