The cultivation of the mushrooms AgaJL..i..~ b.i.6po1U.L6, A. b..i..toJtquiA and other fungi as P.te.wt.otu.6 otttltea..tu.6 e..tc.. has deve I oped in the I ast 10 years , 1 he production of the cu l tivated mushrooms is still low (1 200-1 500 tl, however, the new p l an t s with a bt ·g production capacity are under construction. The fungus Pleu.Jto.tt.Lh ohbt.ea.tu..& is cuI t i vated by some agricultural establishments. The cul tivation of F.tanrnu.t.i..na. ve.tu.t.ipu and some species of the genus P.te.uJLo.tu.6 is deve I oping . A centre for the theoretical research of the cultivated edible fung i is the Institute of Microbiology of the Czechoslovak Academy of Sciences . Mycological Station in Prague se 1 ects new strains of the cultivated mushrooms, investigates new composts and new methods for cultivation and protection of cultivated fungi against diseases.
