The research problem tried to identify information competencies and media literacy in managing of audience's attention. It is beyond any doubt that also in the media, information is a resource whose degree of usage determines an entity's ability to compete in the environment dominated by change. The paper associated the phenomena of information and media literacy with the generating, processing, using and transferring of information, which make up the core elements of the management of attention. The article suggest, that today’s audiences are unprepared to filter the content of the media – information, and values with common tools for discernment that are widely taught and understood. At the same time, understanding and menaging of public attention is now. the single most important determinant of business success.
