The Five Factor Model, commonly referred to as The Model of BigFive Personality, is a simple and universal personality structure model defining the five basic personality features: extraversion, neuroticism, conscientiousness, agreeableness, and openness to experience. The personality dimensions depicted in the Big Five Model allow for grouping human behaviours. As regards the organisation behaviours, including the managerial ones, the Big Five descriptors are recognised prognostics of behaviours at work. Defining managerial behaviours based on the five traits model enables to determine the desired personality profile for a managerial position resulting in conscious shaping of a consistent approach to effective management of people.
