Of late, for the purpose of diagnosing an intracranial hematoma at the acute stage of head injuries, cerebral angiography has come to be employed widely and its diagnostic value has gradually been estimated higher. Therefore, the report describing the angiographic picture of extravasation of contrast medium due to torn meningeal vessels has been made by many authors. Since we have experienced 12 cases in which the extravasation shadow of traumatic extradural hematoma was demonstrated, they are reported.
