O aspecto mais marcante do clima na Regiao Semiarida do Brasil e a alta variabilidade espaco-temporal das chuvas. O presente trabalho tem como objetivo fazer uma analise espacial da precipitacao pluvial mensal na bacia hidrografica do rio Taperoa, localizado na regiao semiarida paraibana.Este tipo de estudo tem a sua importância devido ao fato da precipitacao pluvial ser bastante variavel nas escalas temporal e espacial, e, por isso, conhecer esta variabilidade e de grande importância para a gestao e planejamento dos recursos hidricos, sobretudo em areas semiaridas onde os valores precipitados sao mais baixos se comparados a outas areas tropicais.Para tanto, foram utilizados dados de precipitacao de 22 postos pluviometricos, sendo 14 no interior e 8 fora da respectiva bacia. Os dados foram acessados no site do DCA/UFCG, e a partir deles, por meio de ferramentas de geoprocessamento, foram criados mapas que mostraram a variabilidade espacial e temporal das chuvas. Todas as analises foram trabalhadas, atraves do software Qgis 2.14, e atraves de tecnicas de interpolacao foram gerados mapas. Os resultados obtidos apontam que a BHRT apresenta uma distribuicao sazonal irregular das chuvas com valores maximos em marco e abril o que representa a estacao chuvosa na bacia e um periodo de estiagem bastante pronunciado nos meses de setembro, outubro e novembro. This paper aims to make a spatial analysis of monthly rainfall in the Taperoa river basin, located in Paraiba semiarid region. This type of study has its importance due to the fact that rainfall is highly variable in time and space scales, and therefore know this variability is of great importance for the management and planning of water resources, especially in semi-arid areas where precipitates values ​​are lower compared to other relatively tropical areas. Therefore, rainfall data were used in 22 rainfall stations, 14 in and 8 out of its bowl.
