La labor del historiografo se halla en un momento de crisis hoy y las preguntas que giran en torno a la utilidad de la historia preocupan cada vez mas a los miembros del gremio. Asimismo, el tema de la responsabilidad etico-politica del historiador ha sido objeto de una produccion inestimable en los ultimos anos. Este articulo, que defiende que la etica posibilita una reivindicacion del trabajo del historiador, se alinea en esa clase de propuestas, pero lo hace a traves de la observacion de un elemento basico de la operacion historiografica como es el anacronismo. Likewise, the topic of the ethical-political responsibility of the historian has been object of an invaluable production in the past years. This article, which defends that Ethics enables a vindication of the historian’s work, lines up in this series of proposals, but it does through the observation of a basic aspect in the historiographical operation such as that of anachronism.
