It is carried out a qualitative research with an exploratory profile. The purpose is to demonstrate that increasing simplification of bibliographic production in commercial law is a problem that requires analysis and reflection, because it creates barriers to its development and scientific dignity consolidation. It is argued that the conception of legal structuralism developed by Calixto Salomão Filho can contribute to scientific dignity of Brazilian Commercial Law, as a possible basis for critical, reflexive and propositive reasonings.
