The study aims, based on the OGP Open Government Declaration, the OECD report and Mark Moore's theory of the concept of "public value", to analyze how the Brazilian Public Administration has been driven by data. For this, the first topic will address concepts about the different types of data that permeate administrative functions in Brazil. In the second part, the legal grounds and practical examples of open government in progress in the country will be presented. The method used is the deductive and the technique of bibliographic research, with analysis of the legislation and jurisprudence related to the subject.
