The robotization of machinery operation and medium-sized products manufacturing can cause a number of problems resulted among others from limited range of the robot arm working space or entire area of the robot station. As examples may be shown a welding of spatial objects or the use of press brakes. The solution may be the application of appropriate manipulators as an external axis of the robots, that assist the robot to access to all the parts of the workpiece, increase its range and improve its locomotion. The article presents the results of the research and development work related to the construction and implementation of three new types of machines in the “ZAP Robotyka” plant in Ostrow Wielkopolski. The information presented here is directly related to the results of Project POIR.01.01.01-00-0271/16 within the framework of the Operational Program Intelligent Development 2014-2020 NCBiR.  in polish Studium rozwiązan konstrukcyjnych nowej generacji zewnetrznych osi robotow przemyslowych Robotyzacja obslugi maszyn i wyrobow średniogabarytowych powodowac moze szereg problemow, m.in. związanych z ograniczonym zasiegiem ramienia robota czy powierzchnią montazową stanowiska. Przykladem moze byc spawane obiektow przestrzennych czy obsluga pras krawedziowych. Rozwiązaniem moze byc zastosowanie odpowiednich manipulatorow – zewnetrznych osi robotow, wspomagających dostep robota do miejsc obrobki, jego zasieg i lokomocje. W artykule przedstawiono efekty rozpoczetych prac badawczo-rozwojowych związanych z budową i wdrozeniem w PPU „ZAP Robotyka” w Ostrowie Wielkopolskim trzech nowych typow maszyn. Przedstawione informacje odnoszą sie wprost do wynikow projektu nr POIR.01.01.01-00-0271/16, realizowanego w ramach Programu Operacyjnego Inteligentny Rozwoj 2014-2020 NCBiR.
