Streszczenie W artykule przedstawiono zaleznośc pomiedzy dyszą gazową, a korpusem uchwytu spawalniczego stosowanego w metodzie MAG. Omowiono problemy, ktore pojawiają sie podczas usuwania odpryskow z koncowki dyszy. Nieodpowiednie jej dopasowanie, pojawianie sie nieszczelności (straty mieszanki gazowej) czy w konsekwencji powstawanie niezgodności spawalniczych w spoinie to najwazniejsze z nich. Przeprowadzono i opisano badania mające na celu ukazanie przyczyn i skutkow takiego stanu rzeczy wraz z określeniem, ubytkow w skali dwoch miesiecy.  Abstract In the above article a relationship between a gas nozzle, and a body of a welding holder used in the MAG method is presented. The problems which occur during a removal of chips from the end of the nozzle are described. The key problems are as follows: improper adjustment of the nozzle, appearance of a leakage (loss of a gase- ous mixture) or an occurrence of welding discrepancies in the welds. Tests were made and described to show the causes and results of the above problems with an assessment of the losses within two months.
