Streszczenie w pracy zaprezentowano zagadnienia dotyczące analizy uszkodzen cylindrycznych struktur kompozytowych za pomocą aktywnej termografii w podczerwieni. Przedmiotem badan byly cylindryczne struktury kompozytowe o osnowie polimerowej wykonane z jedno- kierunkowych prepregow (S1) oraz tkaniny szklanej i zywicy epoksydowej (S2). w badaniach byly wykorzy- stywane panele o wymiarach: dlugośc L=300 mm, promien r=92 mm i grubośc t=2 mm. w celu wytworzenia sztucznej delaminacji pomiedzy czwartą i piątą warstwą w środkowej cześci laminatu umieszczono wkladki teflonowe o roznej geometrii. Ponadto badane probki byly obciązane statycznie az do finalnego zniszczenia. Pozwolilo to na wytworzenie rzeczywistych uszkodzen i porownanie ich z symulowanymi. wykonane badania potwierdzily skutecznośc badan termograficznych w wykrywaniu i identyfikacji defektow wystepujących w laminatach szklanych.  abstract The paper presents issues concerning the failure analysis of cylindrical composite structures using active infrared thermography. The subject of the study were cylindrical structures made of composite unidirectional prepregs (S1) and a woven roving glass/ epoxy resin (S2). The panels used in this study are the following di- mensions: length L=300 mm, the radius R=92 mm and a thickness t=2 mm. In order to produce artificial delamination, between the fourth and the fifth layer, in the canter of laminate, Teflon inserts with various thicknesses were placed. In addition, the samples were loaded statically up to the final failure. This allowed the formation of the real defects and compare them with simulated. The study confirmed the effectiveness of the active thermography in detecting and identifying defects in the glass laminates.
