The article discusses the security trends of development and the protection of the national identity of the language in the context of globalization. The features of the influence of various factors on the development of a language, its negative and positive aspects within a national culture are studied; customs and traditions in the context of globalization. The role of terms and problems of terminology building in the development of the national language is emphasized. It also examines the problems of preserving national languages (in particular, the Azerbaijani language), with the aim of ensuring the continuity of cultural traditions the connection with its historical roots, the preservation of its national identity. The connection and the essence of the interconnectedness of tolerance with the security of the national language are revealed. Recommendations and measures to ensure reliable security of the Azerbaijani language in the context of globalization are offered. The importance of standardized and acceptable terminology and the creation of a terminology commission under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the purpose of which is to develop the Azerbaijani language in general and linguistics in the country, was noted. The basic principles and ways are given to ensure the security of languages in the framework of the state program on the use of the Azerbaijani language in accordance with the requirements of globalization.

Development trends and safety of language in terms of globalization
