Представлены результаты теоретического анализа концепта «управленческий потенциал руководителя» в психологии труда. Управленческий потенциал руководителя организации как субъекта труда складывается из специфической структуры профессионально важных качеств руководителя и его управленческой концепции, которая проявляется в стиле руководства коллективом и стратегиях деловой коммуникации, реализуемых руководителем во взаимодействии с подчиненными. Анализируются специфические особенности профессиональной деятельности руководителя территориальных органов МЧС в ракурсе проблемы формирования его управленческого потенциала. The results of a theoretical analysis of the concept of «managerial potential of a leader» in the psychology of work are presented. The managerial potential of the head of the organization as a subject of labor consists of a specific structure of professionally important qualities of the head and his managerial concept, which is manifested in the style of team leadership and business communication strategies implemented by the head in collaboration with subordinates. The specific features of the professional activity of the head of the territorial authorities of the Ministry of Emergencies are analyzed in terms of the problem of the formation of his managerial potential.
