The new SAI MSU observatory 2.5-meter telescope and capabilities of itscurrent instrumentation are described. The facility operates actively since2014 in parallel to the engineering works. It has delivered a number ofprominent results in the field of optical and near-infrared photometry andspectroscopy as well as newly developed observational techniques likedifferential speckle polarimetry.
