To study the effect o f low power laser on the wound healing process at the site of anastomosis in the rat, collagen content and histology were examined. Tracheal reconstruction was performed after tracheal transection and He-Ne laser(3.3 •~ 10-3W/cm2, 5min) was irradiated to the site of anastomosis . Hydroxyproline content, epithelial condition, degree of cellular infiltration and fiber proliferation were measured at 1 and 2 weeks postoperatively. The hydroxyproline contents per 1 mg dry weight in irradiated group at 1 ,2 weeks were 19.7•}4.9g 9, 19.8•}0.8g g, non-irradiated group were 19 .3•}3.9ƒÊg, 20.5 ±2.3μg respectively. Celluar infiltration of irradiated group was fewer than that of non-irradiated group. From this study it is suggested that the laser irradiation may reduce the inflammation of anastomotic site . 緒 言 気管,気 管支の吻合術 は近年多用されている が,縫 合不全,吻 合部狭窄などが依然高率 に発 生 している1).一 旦,縫 合不全 などの合併症が 起こると致命 的となることから,吻 合部の創傷 治癒を促進し合併症 を予防する方策が望まれて い る.一 方,低 出 力 レー ザ ー は ,皮 膚,腸 管 等 に おい て創 傷 治 癒 促 進 効 果 が示 唆 され て い る2). そ こで 我 々 は気 管 吻 合 部 の 創 傷 治 癒 に対 す る低 出 力 レ ー ザ ー の効 果 を調 べ る た め ,ラ ッ ト気 管 を 用 い,He-Neレ ー ザ ー の作 用 を,生 化 学 的 お よ び形 態 学 的 な創 傷 治癒 状 態 に よ って検 討 した .
