マニピュレータ, エンドエフェクタ, 視覚センサおよび移動機構から構成される高設栽培用イチゴ収穫ロボットを試作し, 基本性能実験および収穫実験を行った結果, 以下の知見を得た.1) 高設栽培されたイチゴは, 栽培ベッド下方からアプローチした場合, 障害物も少なく, 収穫作業のロボット化に適した栽培様式であった.2) 吸引式エンドエフェクタを採用することにより, 果実に損傷を与えることなく収穫でき, 視覚センサによる果実の位置検出誤差を吸収することが可能であった.3) 今後は, 高速な収穫作業, 収穫果実に残る果柄をなくすこと, および目的果実周辺の未熟果の吸引をなくすこと等の検討が望まれる.
