Non-Stop delivery systems are indispensable on modem high speed sheet cutters. Until now, pile changes without sheet loss were only possible with two overlapping sections and two layboys. This machine configuration requires a lot of space, because a second change gate is required for the two layboys. Furthermore, this arrangement is not easily accessible.CONTIMAT Jagenberg's new paper pile change system makes precisely counted pile changes possible without sheet loss at full operation speed-all this with the space requirement of only one layboy. Machine length, height and width are considerably reduced in comparison with the previous arrangement with two layboys. Now only one layboy, one overlapping section and one change gate are required.With the CONTIMAT, it is possible to transport the finished piles away automatically and connect an empty pallet magazine with automatic feeding. The entire logistics for the finished paper piles are concentrated on one spot.The CONTIMAT wiil considerably increase by reducing down-times to a minimum and at the same time make space-thanks to its compact dimensions-for additional rationalizing investments and thus further growth.
