Telah dirancang alat pendeteksi beban berlebih pada tas ransel berbasis Arduino Uno dengan sensor load cell dengan kapasitas maksimum 5 kg . Mikrokontroler pada Arduino Uno R3 akan memproses data dengan menggunakan bahasa pemograman Arduino IDE. Input dari sistem adalah berat badan yang diinput dari keypad dan beban tas yang diukur langsung oleh sensor load cell . Sensor load cel l akan mengalami perubahan resistansi saat diberi beban. Selanjutnya perubahan resistansi dikonversi ke tegangan oleh modul HX711. Tegangan kemudian diubah menjadi massa yang ditampilkan pada LCD ( Liquid Crystal Display ). Ketika beban tas melebihi berat 10% dari massa pengguna maka LCD akan menampilkan keterangan “Beban Berlebih” dan buzzer akan berbunyi sebagai peringatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa alat yang dirancang memiliki akurasi sebesar 99,79% dibandingkan dengan timbangan digital. Nilai tersebut diperoleh dengan kondisi beban yang diberikan bervariasi dari 500 g sampai 5000 g. Overload detector for backpack based on Arduino Uno with load cell sensor has been designed with a maximum capacity of 5 kg. The microcontroller on Arduino Uno R3 will process data using the Arduino IDE programming language. The input of the system is the weight input from the keypad and the bag load which is measured directly by the load cell sensor. Load cell sensors will experience resistance changes when under load. Then the change in resistance is converted to voltage by the HX711 module. The voltage is then converted to the mass displayed on the LCD (Liquid Crystal Display). When the bag load exceeds the weight of 10% of the mass of the user, the LCD will display the statement "Beban Berlebih" and the buzzer will sound as a warning. The results showed that the system designed had an accuracy of 99.79% compared to digital scales. This value is obtained with the given load conditions varying from 500 g to 5000 g.
