A R T I C L E I N F O A B S T R A C T Article history: Received: 20 August, 2020 Accepted: 21 October, 2020 Online: 20 November, 2020 The paper examines the impact on the product life cycle of reducing the duration of the development stages of aviation technology through the use of multi-criteria optimization. The subject of the study is the nose of a supersonic aircraft and the process of linking it. This example describes in detail the application of a comprehensive design methodology for aircraft components using top-level criteria as a way to significantly reduce the development time and the risks of obtaining negative test results when entering a full-scale sample.
