脳卒中患者200名を対象に,ADL予後を,リハビリテーション病院に入院時のStroke Impairment Assessment Setを用いた機能障害評価とFunctional Independence Measureを用いたADL評価から予測した方法と,さらに頭部CT所見を加えて予測した方法を比較し,頭部CT所見がADL予後予測に有用か検討した.頭部CTは,機能局在も考慮して全脳を34領域に分け,各領域の病巣の有無を評価した.統計処理はニューラルネットワークを用いた.その結果,頭部CT所見を加えることが,予後予測の精度を向上させ,頭部CT所見が脳卒中予後予測に有用である可能性が示された.
