前報ではモルタル外壁の変形挙動や発生する応力を推定する解析手法を提案した。本報ではモルタルの接合部を構成するラスやステープルの強度・変形性能に関する予測法を改良し前報で提案した解析手法に組込むことによりモルタル外壁の変形について検討した。その結果壁体の水平加力実験により剥落したモルタルやラス下地の破壊性状の観察結果と本解析手法による比較からせん断変形角に対するモルタル壁の破壊状況を予測できることが認められた。したがってモルタル外壁の接合部を構成するラス下地板ステープルラスの強度実験を実施し本論文で提案した解析手法を用いればせん断変形角毎に壁全体の接合部の破壊状況を予測することが可能であると考えられる。
