Lamtoro is one of the plants that have high protein contents ranging from 25 to 35%. However, it used is restricted due to its anti nutrition factors such as mimosine. The mimosine can be reduced by several methods, one of them is by soaking. This research aims to determine the efffect of soaked lamtoro leaf meal (SLLM) on the testis histology of albino rats. The experimental design used within study was a Completely Randomised Design (CRD) with four groups and each group consisted of eight albino rats. The treatments was fed by pellets made from water soaked lamtoro leaf meal (SLLM) combined with commercial feed. The control treatment (P0) was feeding group with commercial feed, the first treatment (P1) was 92,5% commercial feed + 7,5% SLLM, the second treatment (P2) was 85% commercial feed + 15% SLLM and the third treatment (P3) was 77,5% commercial feed + 22,5% SLLM. Treatments was given to albino rats everyday for 30 days. Variables observed measured were amount of spermatogenic cells. Data were analysed with statistic program (SPSS 16.0 for Windows) JURNAL METAMORFOSA IV(2): 178-183 (2017) ISSN: 2302-5697 179 with One Way Anova. The result showed that additional of SLLM into commercial feed diet did not significantly difference (P>0,05) in amount of spermatogenic cells. It was concluded that the additional amount of SLLM up to 22,5% did not decrease amount of spermatogenic cells.
