Flow cytometryを用いて非小細胞肺癌切除144例の核DNA量の解析を行い, その悪性度評価の有用性について検討した.DNAaneuploid例の頻度は77.1%と高率であった。DNAaneuploid例の予後はDNAdiploid例に比べて有意に (P<0.001) 不良であり, 病期別, n0群, 治癒切除群, 組織型別に個々に検討しても同様に有意に不良であり, 術後の再発も高率であった.以上より, DNA aneuploid例はDNA diploid例に比べてより悪性度が高く, 核DNA量は細胞レベルでの悪性度評価の指標として有用と考えられた.
