縦隔腫瘤様病変9例, 肺内腫瘤様病変52例胸膜病変9例の計70例に対してCT-guidedneedle aspiration biopsyを施行し, その診断的価値について検討を行った.生検針の病巣への命中率は97%, 同検査による診断の正確度は96%で, 合併症は23%に認めた.本法が特に有用であった22症例の病巣を, レントゲン学的に9つのpatternに分類した.本法は安全で診断的価値も高く, 胸部悪性腫瘍の診断法として優れた方法と考えた.
