Pellenes nigrociliatus (L.KOCH) (Araneae: Salticidae) jest bardzo rzadkim gatunkiem kseroi termofilnym występującym w Polsce na izolowanych stanowiskach. W pracy przedstawiono rozmieszczenie tego gatunku na terenie Polski, zanalizowano i sprecyzowano informacje o jego preferencjach siedliskowo-środowiskowych oraz przedstawiono hipotezę, że rozmieszczenie krajowych stanowisk P. nigrociliatus świadczy o odrębnych szlakach migracyjnych, jakimi ten gatunek wkroczył na teren Polski.
