This chapter focuses on the relationship between "quality" and "time" and how individuals define "time well spent" and use it to bring about optimal experi- ences in their personal and professional lives. In describing our findings, we report on both qualitative and quantitative data collected over five years, from individuals in seven different countries. At the end of the chapter, we discuss how we are using our findings to create applications of our work, as well as some general lessons about how we as individuals might incorporate these findings into our own lives.
