Two species, Enoplognatha submargarita sp. nov., and Enoplognatha margarita YAGINUMA, 1964 are reported from Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, China. The latter species is recorded from China for the first time. The present paper deals with two species of the spider genus Enoplognatha from China, E. submargarita sp. nov. and E. margarita YAGINUMA, 1964. Both the species are newly added to the fauna of China. The new species has hitherto been misidentified with Theridion ovatum (CLERCK, 1758) or Enoplognatha thoracica (HAHN, 1831) in China. The holotype and allotype are preserved in Hebei Educational College, Shijiazhuang, China. A female and a male of the paratypes are deposited in the Arachnological Society of Japan, Osaka. The other paratypes are also preserved in Hebei Educational College. All the measurements are given in mm. Enoplognatha submargarita sp. nov.
