In der erziehungswissenschaftlichen Debatte um Interkulturalitat und ihre Bedeutung fur Schule und Lehrerausbildung gewinnt die Aufmerksamkeit fur kontinuierlich dynamische Veranderungsprozesse an Bedeutung. Migration wird weniger als ein abgrenzbarer Schritt des Wanderns von einem Herkunftsland in eine neue Heimat, sondern als anhaltender Schwebezustand gedacht: Menschen wandern ein und wandern weiter, Kinder und Jugendliche bezeichnen ihr Leben als «dazwischen sein». Der Beitrag stellt bildungstheoretische, empirische und padagogisch-praktische Ansatze der erziehungswissenschaftlichen Auseinandersetzung mit Transnationalitat vor. Beziehungen zu anderen disziplinaren Feldern (z.B. «Transgender» und «Transitionen» im Bildungssystem) werden hergestellt. Abschliessend werden Schlusse fur die Weiterentwicklung der «Padagogik der Vielfalt» und ihre Konkretisierung in Konzepten der Forschung und der Ausbildung fur Lehrpersonen von der Elementarstufe an gezogen. Migration is not as much to be understood as a distinctive move from the native country to a new home country than as an ongoing Â“floating stateÂ”: People move in and move on; children perceive their lives as Â“in betweenÂ”. This contribution introduces theoretical, empirical, and practical approaches to the academic discourse of transnationalism. Relationships with other disciplinary fields (such as Â“transgenderÂ”, and Â“transitionsÂ” in educational systems) are established. Conclusions with regards to further develop a Â“pedagogy of multiplicityÂ”, and related concrete concepts for research and teacher training (beginning as early as elementary level), are drawn.
