Institutional logics are a relevant analytical framework for studying the interrelation between individuals, organizations and institutions. Given its importance, the objective of this document is to design analytical categories for the use of perspective in the study of organizations. To carry out this task, the ideal types were used following the methodology proposed by Doty and Glick (1994) who suggest carrying out the theoretical construction of the categories in the first place, to later make clear the relationship between constructs. As a result, they integrate four categories that are: Identity, prestige, material practices and cultural elements. It is concluded that the proposal is viable to analyze the content of institutional logics in different social spaces.
