espanolLa comunicacion humana es el proceso que ha permitido al hombre evolucionar como especie en un mundo, que por naturaleza, le es adverso. La humanidad encontro en las imagenes (y luego en las palabras) dos poderosas herramientas que han hecho posible la transmision de conocimientos de generacion en generacion. La suma de ambas dio lugar a la creacion de las infografias, las cuales han tenido una amplia aplicacion en el periodismo. Sin embargo ahora son utilizadas en otros ambitos como la publicidad y la comunicacion organizacional. Este trabajo trata de brindar una aproximacion a estas nuevas aplicaciones de la disciplina infografica, pero tambien entenderla como una eficaz y contundente forma de representacion de la realidad. EnglishHuman communication is the process which allows the human being to evolve as specie in an unfavorable world. Humanity found images, followed then by words, con - sidered both as powerful tools that help to deliver information generation after generation. Sum of them provided the creation of infographies or information graphics, a very im - portant application in the journalist field. However, they are very well used on fields such as advertising and organizational communications; this work tries to offer new options applying the infographic discipline but also to understand as a very efficient and decisive way to represents our reality.
