is essay contains five movements that seek to put on the table of contemporary debate reflective elements (ethical, political, educational) that open a philosophical manifesto, necessarily inconclusive, about laziness and scholè (understood as free time). From each of these movements are (hermeneutically) investigated issues inherent in the sufferings of time that capitalism in its current form brings. In turn, each movement is interrelated in the common plot that manifests itself against the rhetoric of productivity/utility and houses within it a minimal action that contributes to delineate slightly a philosophy of laziness liberating school time. Indeed, each epistemic concern that composes and manifests itself in this text opens a horizon to deepen fundamental discussions in the specific field of the philosophy of education.
